Dog Shot and Killed

Dec. 1, 2004, MONROE, OREGON--A dog was shot and killed while chained in the front yard of a residence in the 25900 block of Bellfountain Road, Monroe. Subsequently, a search warrant was served at a residence in the 26000 block of Bellfountain Road.
Two firearms, marijuana and methamphetamine were found in the house and four people there were arrested. A male, 23, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and being a felon in possession of a firearm. A male, 52, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm. A male, 31, was charged with animal abuse, possession of a controlled substance and being a felon in possession of a firearm. A female, 24, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. All four were taken to the Benton County jail.
